Broken Macro Fixer for Confluence — Privacy Policy

Broken Macro Fixer for Confluence ("the app") is provided by Front Range Apps ("we"). This policy explains what data the app handles when installed on an Atlassian Confluence Cloud site.
Where the app runs
The app is built on Atlassian Forge and runs entirely on Atlassian's cloud infrastructure. It does not send data to servers we operate or to any third party.
What the app reads
To find broken macros, the app reads the content and rendered output of pages in the spaces it can access on your site.
What the app stores
The app stores, in Atlassian-hosted app storage on your site:
- Scan results: macro names, page IDs, page titles, space names and keys, and page version numbers.
- Fix previews and the change log: which pages were changed, what changed, old and new version numbers, and when.
- Settings, such as whether weekly rescans are turned on.
The app does not store full page content.
What the app changes
The app only edits a page after a site admin previews a fix and clicks Confirm. Each edit is saved as a normal page version, so it can be restored from page history. Weekly rescans only read pages and never change them.
What we can see
We do not have access to your Confluence content, scan results or change log. Atlassian provides us with app operational data, such as errors and usage metrics, under its own terms. Our logs contain counts and error types, never page content.
Sale and sharing
We do not sell, rent or share your data, and the app contains no advertising or third-party tracking.
Retention and deletion
Data stays in your site's app storage while the app is installed. Uninstalling the app ends its access to your site, and Atlassian handles the deletion of app storage under its own data retention policies.
